Q: How many words do you recommend I submit for my artwork?

This is a question we get asked all the time and, to be honest, we can work with any number of words at all. However, if you would prefer a guide, then we suggest 30 – 50 words for our smaller sizes, 50 – 80 words for our medium sizes and 80 – 100+ for our larger sizes.

Q: What happens once I place my order & how long will it take to receive the finished product?

Once your order and payment have been received, we will create your bespoke design and email you a proof within 4 working days. Once you sign off on this we will print and hand-finish your artwork and have it hanging on your wall within 7 working days.

If you are purchasing an item that is unpersonalised, unframed prints will be dispatched within 3 working days, all other products within 7 working days.

Q: Will I see a proof of my design before it is printed and can I request changes?

Unless otherwise stated in the product listing, design proofs are created for all personalised artwork.

We will only print the artwork once you are happy with it.  If you would like to make any changes, please find our Change Request Terms below:

Free of Charge
The following change requests will not incur any additional costs:

• Colour change(s) to background or word colours.
• Word changes: We understand that after you have placed your order you might realize that you have missed out a word or two. We are happy to add up to three additional words to your design free of charge.

Charge per Change Request
The following change requests may incur an additional £10 charge as these will constitute a full re-design:

• Font type change: much time is spent carefully arranging your words to create a well proportioned design. Changes to the font type affects word spacing and layout and therefore a new design layout is required.
• Alteration of layout.

Please note that once you have signed-off on your design proof via email we will not be able to make any further changes.

Q: Can you print images or logos on my design?

Yes, we can print images and logos. The customer is held fully responsible for ensuring there are no copyright violations as More Than Words will not accept liability for infringement. By sending us your image or photograph, you are acknowledging that you are the owner of the image, or have obtained permission from the copyright owner in written form, which permits us to print it in accordance with your order.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

Our prefered method of payment is via PayPal. Use our shopping basket & pay securely via PayPal’s secure server using your credit or debit card (inc. Mastercard, Visa, Delta, Solo, Switch/Maestro, Amex). You do not need to have a PayPal account to use this payment method, you can simply enter your payment details when prompted.

An email will be sent shortly after your order has been placed to confirm your order and delivery details.

If you would rather not use PayPal to process your payment, we also accept personal cheque and BACS transfers. Please note that we will not begin work on your artwork until payment has cleared and this may take up to 5 working days.

Q: When will my artwork be delivered?

Q: Where do you deliver to and what do you charge?

For all deliveries to UK mainland locations you will need to ensure that someone is home to sign for your artwork. We can deliver to an address other than the purchase address and packages are sent via courier to ensure delivery and traceability. It’s always a good idea to consider giving a work address if you will not be at home during the day. Our couriers deliver Monday – Friday between 9am and 5.30pm. Two attempts at delivery will be made (a card will be left to re-arrange delivery) before the item is returned to us. Should this happen, there will be a £10 re-delivery charge.
If you are located outside UK mainland then please find standard delivery price details in the table below. If you are ordering unframed pieces, these may cost less to delivery so please contact us before placing your order for a quote.

Please note, international customers must accept liability for Customs issues and any taxes that need to be paid.
