Design Timescales

Timescales

Every single design is created by hand and produced to order.  We do our best to process everything quickly as possible, and advise that you allow yourself around 2 weeks from order to delivery.

If your item is personalised, you will receive a design proof via email within 4 working days (unless the product listing states you will not receive one).  Your artwork is only produced once you are happy with the proof.

Our standard design timescales are above.  However, you have the option of selecting our EXPRESS service at the checkout. This ensures all personalised artwork is delivered within 5-7 working days (from order to delivery).

Splashbacks and smaller home accessories timescales may vary, as outlined in the product listings.

Delivery

You will receive a dispatch notification when your artwork is on its way.

Greetings cards, unframed A4 and A3 prints, and small homeware items will be sent via Royal Mail and do not need to be signed for, unless you have requested this.

For all other print formats, delivery will be provided for by specialist couriers and they will require for someone to be present to sign and accept the artwork. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure that someone is available to take delivery and More Than Words cannot be held responsible for any late, lost or unforeseeable event caused by a delivery date not being met. You shall be deemed to have accepted the goods after receiving delivery. It is your responsibility to check the delivery before signing for it and we cannot refund any damaged deliveries that have not been logged by the courier firm at the point of delivery.

We can deliver to an address other than the purchase address and packages are sent via courier to ensure delivery and traceability. Our couriers deliver Monday – Friday between 9am and 5.30pm. Two attempts at delivery will be made (a card will be left to re-arrange delivery) before the item is returned to us. Should this happen, there will be a £10 re-delivery charge.

International items will be sent via tracked courier and will take longer to arrive than standard UK timescales.  More Than Words will not be responsible for any Customs issues or charges.

If you are located outside UK mainland then please find standard delivery price details in the table below. If you are ordering unframed pieces, these may cost less to delivery so please contact us before placing your order for a quote.

Please note, international customers must accept liability for Customs issues and any taxes that need to be paid.

Returns

Please note we will not accept returns without prior agreement and will only accept returns due to damaged goods logged upon receipt and informed to the couriers. When you return a product to us we will process a replacement item as possible.

We regret that personalised items cannot be refunded once a design proof has been approved. Once design work has been undertaken by a designer and approved by the customer, More Than Words will only refund 50% of the full price of the item.

For unpersonalised products, we will refund the price of the product in full, not including postage costs. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.
