Our Story
More Than Words opened in 2010 and was created out of a love of interior design, graphic design & typography. Back then it was hard to find premium personalised artwork, which is where the inspiration for the business came and More Than Words is still leading the way with our unique and innovative designs.
Since 2011 Kate Blyth has been an integral part of the business as lead designer, and knowing the business inside out it was an easy decision to take over More Than Words in 2017. Since then More Than Words has continued to produce high quality, unique and meaningful artwork at a reasonable price.
“It started with the original ‘Memories Canvas’. A simple personalised collection of our favourite memories as a piece of ‘word art’ on a stunning canvas and in custom colours to match the room.”
Friends & family started making requests and from there More Than Words was born. It went on to create an award-winning global brand, commissioned by thousands of customers around the world. High profile clients include Dannii Minogue, journalist India Knight and comedian Michael McIntyre. More Than Words artwork decorates the walls of well-known corporate clients such as ITV, Selfridges and Amazon.co.uk.

Several imitation companies have cropped up over the years, creating their designs using auto-software and printing on home office printers. We design each piece by hand, to your specifications, and all artwork is professionally printed onto archival products using fine art UV resistant inks, designed to stand the test of time.
