British Isles Word MapThis unique 'word map' has been designed using selected text that has a certain relationship to its particular geographic location. The words used range from regional specialities to historical fact, from local celebrities to indigenous species. Stereotypes, clichés and typecasts help to build an archetypical map of text to chart the infinitely diverse character of the British Isles. The map is skilfully hand-drawn and printed as a lithograph onto 200gsm, 100% recycled paper. There are two sizes available, 600 x 800mm and 700 x 1000mm. Both fit standard ready made frames. The three colours available are blue-black, grey and green. NB. the 700 x 1000mm size is currently only available in the blue-black colour. |
